From author John Kotre come three books on Teilhard de Chardin. The Women He Knew: Portraits from the Life of Teilhard de Chardin tells the stories of seven women in the life of the late Jesuit priest. The Story He Told: Science and Religion in the Life of Teilhard de Chardin lifts a curtain on the clash of two narratives, one from science and one from religion, over a foundational question: were human beings, was the cosmos itself, evolving? When narratives like that collide, the very ground shakes. What happens in such moments? What comes of them? And The Earth He Loved: Its Place in the Life of Teilhard de Chardin tells the story of Teilhard’s life as a scientist and nature writer, following his path through forests, deserts, mountains, and caves, over oceans, under skies, even to a place where dragons came to die.
