A WATERSHED MOMENT

Here’s a brand new photo of Teilhard’s grave as it has just been dressed for Spring, thanks to Jacqueline Francois and her intrepid band of women — self-appointed keepers of Teilhard’s resting place.

Friends of Teilhard, we need your help! We are committed to our final overseas filming trip to England and France in just 3 weeks. It will include stops in Hastings, England, where Teilhard studied theology, searched for fossils in the cliffs by the ocean, and was ordained. Then to Verdun, where he served in one of the many battles he was part of in World War I. And to Paris for filming at the Teilhard Foundation, the Museum of Natural History, and other locations. We will also do a number of key interviews, notably with Teilhard biographer Ursula King.

But last minute unexpected expenses — filming permits, expensive extra insurance policies, itinerary changes due to the French rail strike — have broken the budget. If everyone who reads this gives just $10, $25, or any amount you can — via our Teilhard website donate page (http://www.teilhardproject.com/donations/)

— it will save us from going into extra debt to get it done. This trip is a real watershed. It will take us to the halfway point in our production process. And we then can begin to taste the joys of editing!

Many thanks for your support. Did you know, this will be the first English-language film on Teilhard in more than 50 years – and the very first to be aired in the US? And, together, we will have made it happen!

Frank and Mary Frost
